Our Story
Latinas in Cannabis started in 2020 as an Instagram channel to promote Latina owned small businesses in cannabis as well as highlight content by Latinas who work in the cannabis industry, aspire to work in the cannabis industry, or simply just enjoy cannabis. As our reach grew, we began collaborating with brands, hosting IG Live sessions, and eventually producing in-person, cannabis-consumption events.
We aspire to dismantle cultural and gender-based stigmas surrounding cannabis use that create barriers to success for Latinas looking to break in or advance in the cannabis industry. We're proud to connect, empower and celebrate Latinas who enjoy cannabis by offering a safe space for networking, mentorship and personal and professional development.
